Meeting Minutes: July 2025

The July board meeting focused on the important issue of communication. In an effort to improve communication between the board and the membership, we will experiment with a few changes to how we share information. This is the first example. While full minutes will always be available (aiming for timely release!), we are adding short overviews covering the main themes from the meeting in a short paragraph or two. Concise, timely communication is vital as we embark on a major expansion project and we will expand on our efforts to include regular updates on the project. Communication goes both ways, and we will ensure that there are plenty of well-advertised opportunities to communicate with us!

Aside from the expansion project, we have been busy revising the Board Policy Manual. The policy manual is a critical document that guides how the board functions, how we are accountable to YOU, and how we hold the General Manager accountable. We are working to streamline the document, clarify policies and roles, and ensure that future boards have a clear roadmap for supporting the Co-op into the future. We will share the manual as soon as we approve it.
